Manitoba's new Condominium act and regulations came into effect on February 1, 2015.
The new act includes changes that will apply to the purchase and sale of a condominium. For example: Pursuant to Section 51.(2) of the Act, if an agreement of purchase and sale for a unit is entered into after the declaration and plan for the land that includes the unit are registered, the seller must provide documents to the buyer. For further clarification and information please refer to the new Condominium Act which was enacted effective February 1, 2015.
